JAMANI: This is a unique outreach forming to connect with young adults in the Bloomington area who have no connection to any church. The outreach envisions developing a coffee shop which will also host seminars that can address topics relevant to the people. JESUS de NAZARET: Located in Rock Island, this church is doing much outreach in their area, operating a food pantry, tutoring, etc. They also send money to a home in Mexico where older people and street children go to get food and clothes. They have formed several small groups for Bible study. They have been training their leaders in evangelism to work harder in their neighborhoods to form Bible studies in their homes. They now have a computer lab for the youth and two new ministries.

Native American Fellowship Dayspring United Methodist Church: After meeting in a machine shed on the Seven Circles Heritage property for 13 years, they started worshiping at Faith UMC in East Peoria in the past year. Currently they are in the process of building a first-phase facility on a beautiful, on 42 acres of wooded property in East Peoria that was given to them by First UMC, Peoria. It is their intention to be a one-of-a-kind church that will serve the whole state of Illinois.

NEW HORIZON MULTI-SITE MINISTRY: New Horizon plans to develop another worshipping site in the Tolono-Savoy area, south of Champaign. With the recent announcement that New Horizon's founding pastor will move April, 2008, the church is re-examining the pace of its plan. The new Lead Pastor for New Horizon will come August 1, 2007. Though the ministry will not launch as soon as originally envisioned, the leadership is committed to the multi-site model of ministry.

QUEST: Quest chartered in April, 2006, and continues to grow and reach young adults in the Champaign-Urbana area. Worshipping at the Holiday Inn in Urbana, they utilize a strong small group ministry to help people grow in their faith. Quest seeks to engage people in ministry, both within and beyond the congregation.

REAL LIFE: Though faced with a rocky start, Real Life has gained significant momentum recently. The church has many children and youth. The leadership continues to focus on people gathering. One strategy that has proven particularly effective in Waterloo (suburb of St. Louis) is to have the worship band visible at local parades. They seek to find many other ways to make the church visible and known in Waterloo and the surrounding area.

STREAMS OF HOPE: Though growth has been slow for this church in Braidwood, it has been steady. The church has been instrumental in serving the needs of the community by establishing a food pantry. The church currently worships at the Reed-Custer Middle School.
